Will we meet to plan our reception?

As we tell all couples, every wedding is different. With that, some require more detailed planning than others. So whether you are satisfied with a single at-home meeting, are comfortable with reviewing information by telephone or email, or would like to discuss your plans in person more than once, we're always more than happy to make the proper arrangements. And most importantly, with DJ Dave's, there's no "swapping" of gigs; the DJ that you meet with is the DJ that will be performing at your wedding.

Is there a charge for set-up time?

No, there is no additional charge for equipment load-in and sound check. Your DJ will be set up, prepared, and ready to entertain well in advance at no extra cost.

Will a deposit be required?

In most cases, a small deposit is required when a booking has been finalized and a contract has been drawn. Your final closing payment may be made any other time prior to, or on the day of, your reception.

What will our DJ be wearing?

Simply put, whatever you would like! At your request, your DJ can perform in a suit, tuxedo, or any other attire of your choice.

Is there a way to provide sound for both the ceremony and the reception?

Yes, there is. With many ceremonies and receptions now taking place at the same location, we offer multiple systems to cater to all sound reinforcement needs. Whether simply turning speakers to broadcast to a certain area, or providing a separate sound system for your ceremony, we are ready to keep your guests listening!

Can our family and friends make personal requests?

If you would like to allow so, your guests are more than welcome to offer song suggestions at any time prior to, or throughout, your event.

In the event of an emergency, will another disc jockey be available to provide entertainment?

Your booking date and specific wedding information (song requests, wedding party name lists, etc.,) is kept on file so that in the event of an emergency, another disc jockey is available, and highly capable of providing the same top-notch entertainment for your reception.
